How this tool handles information

When you complete the assessment, your answers are sent to an AI service to generate the output you receive. That happens server-side through a proxy I control. Your answers are not stored on my servers after the output is generated.

If you tick the consent box before you start, your anonymised responses are stored for community research — the answers themselves, which version of the assessment you took, and a timestamp. Nothing that connects back to you or your studio is included. No name, no email, no IP address. If you leave the box unticked, nothing is stored.

If you register your interest at the end of the assessment or on the redirect screen, your email address is stored. It's used to get in touch if and when something worth sending exists. It's not linked to your assessment responses. It's not shared with anyone.

The contact form works the same way: name, email, and message come to me directly. I keep them long enough to reply and nothing beyond that.

Your answers are passed to a large language model to produce the output. The model may be provided by Anthropic, OpenAI, or DeepSeek depending on what's running at the time. Each of those providers has their own privacy policy covering what happens on their side of the call.

The proxy function that handles the call does not log your answers. The API key is server-side and never exposed to the browser.

There are no tracking cookies on this site. No analytics, no third-party scripts. Session state — where you are in the assessment — is stored in your browser's session storage and clears when you close the tab.
